Terms of use, in plain language

These terms set out the basic rules for using the explorer and the API. By using them you agree to the points below.

Who these terms are between

They are between you and SourceRanker, the operator of this site and its API. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept the terms for it.

The terms are general. If something here conflicts with a written agreement you hold with us, the written agreement wins.

Your account and key

You sign in with a Google account. One account holds one balance and its API keys.

You are responsible for what happens under your key. Keep it out of public code, shared documents and client-side scripts you publish.

Tell us through the account page if you think a key has leaked.

Credit and payment

The service runs on prepaid credit. One credit is $0.0001, and each action has a stated cost in credits, listed in the reference.

New accounts receive a starting credit, as announced on the home page. Top-ups are made in USDT (TRC-20) from the account page.

When the balance reaches zero, paid calls stop and return an error until you add credit. We may change prices for future use, and we will show current costs on the site.

Acceptable use

Use the service for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm it or other users. Do not try to break into accounts, bypass the credit system or overload the servers on purpose.

Do not resell raw responses as a competing data feed without our written permission. Using results inside your own reports, tools and client work is fine.

We may limit or suspend access when use threatens the service.

About the data

The data comes from our own crawler and index, which is rebuilt roughly once a month. It can be incomplete or out of date.

Domain Rating is our own metric. It is not a Google metric and does not predict how any page will rank. You decide what to do with the numbers, and you carry the result of those decisions.

Do not rely on the service as the only input for decisions that carry serious financial or legal weight.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running. We cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, so it is offered as it is, and you should plan for the odd gap or slow response in anything you build on top of it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss arising from your use. Nothing here limits any right that the law does not let us limit.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms, and the date at the top shows when. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
